PHOENIX, AZ
A hotbed for solar
Make the right choice
If you’re ready to go solar, choose a company whose headquarters are in Phoenix, Arizona.

Why Phoenix is the perfect place for solar
With more sunny days than any other state, and some of the most lucrative solar incentives in the country, going solar makes a whole lot of sense for Arizonans. Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of homeowners go solar throughout Maricopa County, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, and Tempe. We also cover the greater Tucson area in Pima County, as well as the city of Yuma and the surrounding towns and neighborhoods.

Solar incentives to switch
The Residential Arizona Solar Tax Credit reimburses homeowners for 25 percent of the cost of your solar panel installation. That can save you $1,000 off of your taxes in the year you install your solar panels. As a resident of Arizona, you also won’t have to pay sales taxes when you purchase your solar system. Nor will you pay additional property taxes on the value you add to your home by installing your system. Last but not least, your Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC) allows you to deduct 26 percent of your system’s cost from your federal taxes. But keep in mind this credit could be gone forever in 2024.

No net metering? No problem.
While net metering is not available in Arizona, there are plenty of savings to be had. Solar customers can receive compensation for the excess power they produce based on a flat rate established by their utility company. When you become an Arcadia Solar customer, you’ll also save money thanks to our WattWise app. This technology helps APS customers manage their energy consumption more intelligently, so they can avoid “on-peak” charges.
